3. OCR Privacy Protection — Edge-Only Processing

This is a core privacy guarantee of our Service:

• When you upload an image for formula recognition via our Image to LaTeX (OCR) feature, the image is processed entirely on your local device (edge computing).
• The AI inference runs inside your browser using WebAssembly and ONNX Runtime. No image data, extracted LaTeX code, or any derived information is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party server.
• SinglePi does not persist, store, retain, or log any images you upload for OCR processing.
• We never use your uploaded academic images, formulas, or any derived data for training, commercial purposes, or any other use beyond the immediate real-time processing you requested.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Passwords are hashed using strong, industry-standard algorithms.
• All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• We regularly review our security practices to safeguard against unauthorized access.
